‘Arena Online’ Launches Crowdfunding Campaign on IndieGoGo
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) August 25, 2015 -- After almost a year of planning and development, Arena Online began taking sign-ups for their beta platform today with the launch of their IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign.
Until now, eSports tournaments offering cash prizes in such games as the universally popular League of Legends were reserved for elite gamers with top rankings. It was nearly impossible for average players to compete in tournaments with any possibility of winning cash prizes. Other online gaming communities, like fantasy sports leagues or digital poker, have advanced platforms to organize and run online tournaments, with players winning thousands of dollars every day.
Arena Online looks to change this reality for gamers by creating an online, automated tournament platform for players of all skill levels with the most frequent, efficient and slickest tournaments available. Additionally, players do not need to be part of a team, nor do they need to be an elite-ranked player to enter.

Arena Online’s first featured game will be League of Legends, the most played game in the world. The Arena development team has already released an interactive tracking site that shows LOL statistics beyond anything offered currently (http://lol.arenaonline.com). Their ultimate plan is to offer stats sites and tournaments for many more games to follow. In fact, non League of Legends players can have a voice in what game comes to the platform next through a nominal $5 tier.
Other smaller tier perks include beta access for a $10 donation, and custom profile artwork for $20+ donation levels.
The featured perk offered by Arena Online is entry into their inaugural tournament series for $25,000 in payouts per tournament. Read More About This Tournament Series.
Additionally, donors can take advantage of $99 and $150 donation tiers that offer tournament entry as well as credit packs for use in entering future tournaments.
“This is an opportunity for us to engage the most vital aspect of our success, the community,” said Arena Online Founder, Alan Hubbard. “Crowdfunding allows us to offer our users more than just access to our platform; they truly become backers of our mission.”
