Strategic leader turned author Gardner E. Daniel believes that learning not shared is learning wasted. Living by his word, he accumulates 35 years of management experience and knowledge in one insightful guidebook on effective leadership. "Living Leadership By Insight" (published by Xlibris) offers astute ideas on achieving success in leadership as gained from the author's critical observations and practical experience.
"The insight I have received into what is successful has been clearly revealed through years of experience," says Daniel. "There have been failures and there have been successes and it has not been difficult to discern the reasons for either. Careful thought has led to the extraction of the traits and characteristics that provide a leader with the best chance of success and they are delineated in this book. "
"Living Leadership By Insight" enlightens readers on 'strategies that work' for varying leadership environments and situations. The author details the essential characteristics which he has come to test through authentic set-ups with real risks. He examines these strategies based on different factors at play - including the general business climate, the nature of risks involved, laws, etc. - and allows the readers to speculate on these, urging them to apply and modify based on proposed models.
Daniel believes that society is in need for a future generation of leaders who will make sensible and sensitive decisions on behalf of the people - applicable not only in business but in almost all aspects of human concerns. With this in mind, he hopes to influence these future leaders to be people who 'truly care about the welfare of those under their guidance and demonstrate it with their caring attitude and leadership style.'
