Kathryn Bartow debuts in the literary scene with “Red Pasture” (published by Xlibris). The first book in a series titled “High Riding Heart,” this new novel follows a ranch family as they attempt to find love, adventure and success in the rich and wild landscape of the American West.

“Red Pasture” is part of a series that chronicles the saga of the Moore Ranch and the people of the fictional town of Brandon as they endure the changing role of the ranch in the American West. In this first installment, readers are introduced to the Moore family and the heartaches and triumphs they encounter while adapting to the changes sweeping around them. This book is a multilayered story filled with twists and turns that will keep readers engaged from beginning to end.

Kathryn Bartow is an avid horsewoman who draws inspiration from her experiences with horses and ranch life to write a compelling story of love, honor and family twisted with betrayal, despair and healing. She holds a degree in Equine Science from Findlay College. She found a love for western culture when she moved to Southwest Colorado. Bartow currently resides in Ohio.
