Author Grace Simmons returns to the literary scene two years after she published her first book. Picking up where “Unexpected” left off, the Secret series’ second book, “Released” (published by Xlibris), continues to delight readers with its mystery-filled plot packed with exciting twists and turns.
After the events of last year, Sally, Talia and Thomas begin to get used to the boring, everyday life of being a teenager. That is, until, one of their classmates is reported missing, and a new mystery begins. As the stakes rise, they realize they cannot run from their past.
With a great evil growing and a new danger introduced, they are hurled into a whole new mystery, and this time around, the risks are raised. Just when they thought the adventure was over, they are forced to think again.
The layers of mystery and history associated with the characters provide depth to the already exciting plot. Raising the bar higher in her series’ second book, Simmons tackles the dangers of secrets and its effects on one’s choices. Taking readers on another thrilling literary adventure, she treats them to a crescendo of events that will lead to an explosive end.
