Edward A. Vinson shares poetic rendition of Mark’s gospel
ATLANTA (PRWEB) March 03, 2015 -- “The God of the Bible has called me to be an inspired writer for Him,” says poet Edward A. Vinson. In “SABRA” (published by Xlibris), he presents a long, epic poem based on the book of Mark in hopes of inspiring readers to live for and with Jesus.
The book’s introduction poses the question: “When was the last time you read the Gospel and sensed sweetness and light, or blood and thunder?” He answers this through a first person rendition of the New Covenant book of Mark from a perspective of the Unseen Substance of Faith, which gives readers a viewpoint as if they were seeing through Jesus' eyes.
Praise for “SABRA”:
“I thank God that there are still psalmists who can deliver the very essence and character of God . . . I see you as a bubbling brook whose waters flow from the springs on Mt. Zion. The waters that flow through you are life-giving . . .”
— Stephanie Berry, Irish Worship Leader and Missionary
