Chase and Stacey Stevens are typical twins - at first glance. A close look into their story would unwrap a mystery yet far more trivial than just being sisters. In the first book of MP Ashman's Time Twins Series, the adventures of the time twins begin with secret of "The Water Tower" (published by Xlibris AU).
A rift in the space-time continuum reconciles the fate of Chase and Stacey. They share more than just eye or hair color. In fact, they are the same person. Chase turns out to be Stacey's doppelganger from a parallel Earth, stuck in this reality and masquerading as her twin. The act is going well and they may have to keep their special abilities to themselves, until the unexpected happens.
The Water Tower Project is a council initiative to finally reclaim the poisoned water surrounding the town of Einstein’s Plateau, reducing its dependence on tank water and creating a main water source. But something does not seem quite right to Stacey Stevens. Only moments after deciding to research the project for her social studies assignment, she discovers several inconsistencies between what she learns and what they have been told. She and Chase decide to dig deeper into the mystery and find out what is really going on. Is the Water Tower really meant to save the city or to condemn it?
Lively and intriguing, "The Water Tower" offers a rewarding treat to the reader who finds fantasy fiction an immense form of entertainment.

About the Author
MP Ashman debuted in 2012 with “Black Hollow,” a fantasy fiction novella about Jessica Bannerly, a girl who believes herself to be far from special, until she is whisked away into a magical kingdom, where an ancient wizard believes her to be his only way of escaping a mystical prison. This was followed, a year later, by “Black Hollow Part II,” in which the wizard uses Jessica's best friend, Ciara and her brother, Justin, to finally win his freedom. In 2014, Ashman turned to science fiction, with the novella “Time's Child,” following Nina Sumner, a technophobic 21st century teen who discovers that the life she has is not the one to which she belongs. With “The Water Tower,” Ashman begins a whole new saga in the Time Twins science fiction series for young adults. MP Ashman lives in Toowoomba with his family, including his cat, Prue.
