These presentations at VINAS 2015 will show how companies dramatically shorten design times while improving accuracy, performance and efficiencies using the TURBOdesign Suite.

Advanced Design Technology (ADT), a global leader in the development of advanced turbomachinery design methods and the TURBOdesign Suite, today announces that two presentations scheduled for the VINAS 2015 Conference to be held October 14 and 15 at the Tokyo Conference Centre, Shinagawa, Japan will focus on ADT’s TURBOdesign software and its time-saving, efficiency and optimization capabilities using 3D inverse design methodology.

One key presentation will be given by Pierre-Jean Tardy, Expertise and Support Team Leader for Renault Sport F1, focusing on how ADT's TURBOdesign Suite is helping Renault Sport to improve turbocharger compressors for future generations of F1 engines. TURBOdesign Suite has already helped major turbocharger manufacturers such as Cummins Turbo Technology to significantly improve performance of turbocharger compressors. This presentation will highlight some of the requirements imposed by F1 regulation on the turbocharger compressor including the coupling with an electric motor/generator. It will be of interest to design engineers involved in electrification of engine powertrains as well as motorsport applications.

  •      "New features and functionalities in TURBOdesign Suite 6.0 for optimal design of complete Turbomachinery stages" Prof. Mehrdad Zangeneh - Advanced Design Technology.
