“Whatever” offers something to every reader, there is entertainment, humor and even history.

The life of Dick Harte is a heady blend of structure and adventure. He enjoys a career as an optometrist, physicist and aerospace engineer. On the other hand, he also had his fair share of adventure, some of which is as depicted in his first published work, “Off Season,” a travel diary of a nine-month globe-trotting escapade he had with his wife. Recently, Harte has released “Whatever” (published by Xlibris), his second book and his first foray into fiction.

“Whatever” is a collection of original short stories, essays and poems. The themes explored in the anthology are mesmerizing in their range and diversity but Harte’s unique writing style and voice makes each literary piece relatable and emotionally accessible. As the evocative narrator, he guides readers on a journey through unforgettable places including the Greek Islands, Esquimo country, Tuscany, New York and even a Nazi camp.

“These are short stories, essays and poems that appealed to me over the years,” Harte says, “I felt that it was time to pull them together and publish.”

“Whatever” offers something to every reader, there is entertainment, humor and even history.
