The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), a premier provider of integrated, educational programs and services for over 1.5 million students has selected Mobile Active Defense (M@D) to secure its mobile education ecosystem.

Tony Lucich, Director of Technology Infrastructure Service for LACOE said, “we are delighted to partner with Mobile Active Defense to secure our mobile devices. As a county, we like to encourage our students to practice good digital citizenship, however without the proper tools to enforce that behavior, we are not doing enough. With that mindset, we looked at the many products on the market, and MAD’s unique capabilities including tamper resistance, full username resolution with mobile identity network access control and full traffic filtering with granular policy management are unsurpassed by anyone else."

Lucich continued, "Mobile Active Defense is the only solution that addresses key challenges of the K-12 education environment by allowing students and faculty to seamlessly and securely access the learning tools they need from anywhere while encouraging them to be good digital citizens. Education doesn't stop when the students leave the classroom and neither does MAD’s mobile security.”

Spencer Cobb, Chairman & CEO of Mobile Active Defense said, “we are thrilled to be working with LACOE to support its efforts to truly leverage mobile devices as an integral part of instruction.
