Simplifile’s Mark Ladd Receives Certified MISMO® Standards Professional Designation
PROVO, Utah (PRWEB) October 06, 2015 -- Mark Ladd, vice president of regulatory and industry affairs at Simplifile, recently completed the Certified MISMO Standards Professional (CMSP) program, the only MISMO certification program available for individuals within the mortgage industry.
“Having been involved with MISMO for nearly 15 years, this certification means a lot to me,” Ladd said. “It is recognition for all the hours put into an organization and a process I strongly support. In addition to his role at Simplifile and involvement with MISMO, Ladd serves as President of the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA).
According to the Mortgage Bankers Association, the CMSP is a new program launched by MISMO earlier this year and was created in direct response to industry demands for skilled MISMO practitioners. The CMSP designation, along with the extensive supporting educational curriculum, ensures that individuals have the requisite ability to support, design and implement MISMO-based projects.

The CMSP program is a points-based program. Candidates accrue points by successfully completing MISMO education programs as well as by participating in MISMO workgroups, summits, and other activities.
