I am humbled and honored to receive the FCIPS designation, said Grimm, it affords me an important platform by which to continue to advocate for and elevate the profession and the professionals who tirelessly work for the betterment of their agencies.

NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement Chief Executive Officer, Rick Grimm awarded Fellowship by the UK-based Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

CIPS Fellowship is a globally recognized mark of professional standing and an accolade to the contributions and achievements Grimm has made to the procurement and supply profession. As an FCIPS, Grimm is in a unique position to inspire others, raise the public profile of the profession globally and play a major role in setting the strategy for the future of procurement and supply.

Rick Grimm FCIPS, CPPO, CPPB is NIGP’s Fifth Executive Vice President/CEO. He holds a Business Administration Bachelor’s Degree (University of Miami) and a Public Administration Master’s Degree (Florida International University). Grimm worked for 23 years in county government and public school districts, with 12+ years in public procurement management before joining NIGP.
