The effectiveness of an ESB is only as good as the connectors and inbound endpoints linking it to the organization’s applications and APIs.
Mountain View, CA (PRWEB) December 03, 2015
An enterprise service bus (ESB) provides the backbone for enterprise integration. However the effectiveness of an ESB is only as good as the connectors and inbound endpoints linking it to the organization’s applications and APIs whether on-premises or in the cloud. WSO2 will present three webinars on how IT professionals can optimize their integration using customizable connectors and inbound endpoints for the 100% open source WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus (WSO2 ESB) 4.9.
The WSO2 ESB Connectors and Inbound Endpoints webinar series will run December 8 – December 15, 2015. To learn more, visit: http://wso2.com/landing/connectors-and-inbound-endpoints-with-wso2-esb-webinar-series-2015.
December 8 - Introduction to WSO2 ESB 4.9: Extension Points, Connectors and Streaming Connectors
Cloud connectors and streaming connectors in WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus 4.9 enable the rapid integration of cloud APIs and software as a service (SaaS) platforms. This webinar will examine how developers can use WSO2’s extensible framework to write their own connectors or inbound endpoints to link to applications and APIs on-premises or in the cloud. It will begin with an introduction to WSO2 ESB and then examine available extension points, inbound endpoints, and connectors.
Malaka Silva, WSO2 senior technical lead, will present the webinar on Tuesday, December 8, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PST. For more information or to register, visit http://wso2.com/library/webinars/2015/12/introduction-to-enterprise-service-bus-4.9.0-extension-points-connectors-and-streaming-connectors.
December 10 – Cloud-to-Cloud Integration with WSO2 ESB Connectors
As more enterprises rely on SaaS applications to run their businesses, they need an effective way to integrate these cloud-based solutions. This webinar will begin by examining how connectors need to address complex integration requirements by offering an abstraction of third-party APIs that provide the functionality for composite cloud-based business applications. Additionally, the webinar will discuss how to use WSO2 ESB connectors for SaaS offerings to:
- Integrate Salesforce with Hubspot.
- Integrate the Vend point-of-sale app with Shopify, Mailchimp, and Nexmo.
Jointly presenting will be Keerthika Mahendralingam, WSO2 associate software engineer, and Kesavan Yogarajah, WSO2 associate software engineer. The webinar will be held Thursday, December 10, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PST. December 15 – Integration Scenarios with WSO2 ESB Connectors and Inbound Endpoints
Increasingly, organizations rely on feedback from the public through social media or data banks to gain insights about the quality and visibility of their products and services. This webinar will focus on how to use WSO2 ESB streaming connectors to get real-time data from social media and then connect different APIs and legacy backend servers to combine their functions. The session also will review two business scenarios:
- Using Twitter in combination with a Kafka message broker and Salesforce CRM.
- Using a Salesforce streaming connector with Google spreadsheet connectors.
Kathees Rajendram, WSO2 software engineer, and Sriashalya Srivathsan, WSO2 associate software engineer, will jointly lead the session. The one-hour webinar will be held Tuesday, December 15, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PST.
