Jolene Jefferies Joins Victory Media as VP of Training & Development: Military recruiting pioneer to expand company’s renewable talent training solutions
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) October 22, 2015 -- Victory Media announced today the hiring of Jolene Jefferies, SPHR, as Vice President of its Training & Development division. In her role, Jolene is responsible for developing curriculum for higher education institutions, corporations, transition program managers and business influencers to provide insights, case studies and actionable tips for implementing leading practices in the recruiting, hiring, support and career development of our nation’s veterans and military spouses.

It was a mammoth undertaking, and the company is still using the core ATS today. Prior to joining Victory Media, Jolene was President of her own consulting firm, Workforce Sage, LLC, from 2013 to 2015, and previously served as the VP of Strategic Partnerships for DirectEmployers Association from 2008 to 2013. She also held director positions in HR and employment for Union Pacific Railroad and SITEL Worldwide, as well as human resources positions in the restaurant and aviation industries. Jolene served on the boards of the National Association and the Rocky Mountain Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE and RMACE), FutureForce Nebraska, and was a gubernatorial appointee to the Nebraska State Workforce Investment Board. She was recognized by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) with the prestigious Seven Seals Award for her sustaining support of their mission. Additionally, Jolene provided congressional testimony to the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs on June 1, 2011 at the hearing “Putting America’s Veterans Back to Work.”
Jolene received her BSBA in HR Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®). She resides with her husband in the Omaha area.
