The Active Transportation Alliance's Executive Director Ron Burke said, "The support of MB Financial Bank is critical to our ability to bring events like this to Chicago as well as our ongoing efforts to improve the health and physical fitness of our community. MB Financial Bank and our other great sponsors help us provide more options for travel through walking, biking and using mass transit.”

Sue Peterson, MB Financial Bank Executive Vice President and Head of Retail Banking, said, “All of us at MB enjoy bringing this event to the city of Chicago. It’s the only day of the year when Lake Shore Drive is closed to car traffic and open to all people from across the Chicago area – families, individuals, novices and experts – all enjoying the city’s magnificent skyline and the beauty of Lake Michigan. This is our sixth year of sponsoring Bike the Drive and we couldn’t be happier with the ongoing success of the event. To encourage even more participation, we’re pleased to offer participants a special discount and gift at all of our banking centers.”
