Travel helps us better understand and appreciate other people ultimately leading to a more peaceful world. Nothing is more intimate, or more effective at breaking down cultural barriers, than cooking and sharing meals together.

The first trip: Spa & Wine Vacation in Southern Poland & Krakow scheduled for June 7 - 13, 2015 includes six nights accommodations at the five star Dr. Irena Eris SPA Hotel in Krynica Zdroj, with breakfast, lunch and most dinners included. The trip also has travelers enjoying personalized face and body treatments including a full body massage as well as cultural sightseeing in Krakow (Cracow) and Polish wine tastings throughout the week at small, family owned vineyards.

One of the elements that makes Poland Culinary Vacations trips unique is their offer of hands-on and demonstration style Polish cooking lessons in villages with local women and in cities with professional Polish chefs. Guests also enjoy food artisan’s visits, as well as excursions to cultural sites with all entrance fees included. An English speaking, expert guide accompanies each group.

"Travel helps us better understand and appreciate other people ultimately leading to a more peaceful world. Nothing is more intimate, or more effective at breaking down cultural barriers, than cooking and sharing meals together." Ms. Rose, the President and Founder of Poland Culinary Vacations stated, which is why she launched the second, additional trip: Culinary & Cultural Adventure in Greater Poland & Poznan with departure date of June 21 -27, 2015.

Culinary & Cultural Adventure in Greater Poland & Poznan consists of three nights accommodations at the four star Tlokinia Palace Hotel in the Polish countryside and three nights at boutique Kolegiacki Hotel in Poznan, breakfast, lunch and most dinners as well as local beer and Polish vodka tastings. Hands-on and demonstrations cooking classes (complete with your own apron) are also included as well and cultural and food artisans visits.

Ms. Rose quotes, “The journey is part of the experience - an expression of the seriousness of one's intent. One doesn't take the A train to Mecca.”
