InstaVR Announces Compatibility with Rendering in Autodesk A360
(PRWEB) November 15, 2016 -- InstaVR, Inc. (http://www.instavr.co), a virtual reality (VR) authoring, publishing, and analysis company, announced new functionality allowing customers to create VR applications utilizing stereo panorama images built using Rendering in Autodesk A360.
These new capabilities extend InstaVR's customer reach, providing a powerful platform for engineers, architects, and 3D artists to quickly and easily create publishable VR. InstaVR users are now able to author interactive VR experiences across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Gear VR, Google Cardboard, Web) that incorporate stereo panorama images rendered in Autodesk A360.
Autodesk A360 users can upload media to InstaVR and start adding interactivity such as navigation, pop up information, narration, and then publish to various VR platforms with a single click. InstaVR supports all image resolutions that can be rendered using Rendering in Autodesk A360. Additionally, InstaVR also supports much higher resolutions that might be created by Rendering in Autodesk A360 in the future, such as 49,152 x 4,096 for GearVR and 24,576 x 8192 for Zip.
"Our customers have become more sophisticated in their virtual reality needs," said Daniel Haga, Founder and CEO of InstaVR. "We're very happy to extend our platform capability to incorporate media made using the Autodesk A360 platform. I'm excited to see all the new cutting edge VR apps or web sites that will be created using Autodesk A360 and InstaVR."
InstaVR will be showcasing this new technology in the Autodesk University 2016 Exhibit Hall, November 15-17th in Las Vegas, Nevada. Conference attendees can experience actual applications built on the InstaVR platform incorporating stereo panorama images created using Rendering in Autodesk A360 on Gear VRs, iPads, and mobile phones.
"Autodesk was my 1st professional job, and I have fond memories of my eight years there," said Haga. "I'm very glad to have compatibility with Autodesk, for our customers and on a personal level too."
