MilfordMD’s VIP Holiday Makeover Party a Celebrated Hit

Last week’s VIP Holiday Makeover Party at MilfordMD Cosmetic Dermatology Surgery & Laser Center, in Milford, Penn., was a huge hit and the perfect pick-me-up for attendees wanting to look their best for upcoming holiday festivities.
“Our venue was packed with patients, who left the party after having facial demos, being educated about the latest in noninvasive facial rejuvenation options and armed with procedure discounts and samples of our most popular products,” says cosmetic surgeon Dr. Richard Buckley.
As they registered, attendees received, among other things, a coupon for a free pre-holiday facial rejuvenation consultation (a $150 value); a $100 coupon in Aspire rewards that can be used for any Dysport, Restylane or Sculptra injectable treatment; and a select few received a $300 Aspire rewards coupon that can be used towards an upper face Dysport treatment, to help relax lines between the eyes and on the forehead that make people look stressed and angry during the holidays. The evening included a demonstration of treatment with Dysport.
Aspire is a rewards program by Galderma and including its popular Sculptra, Dysport and family of Restylane products. Patients who have treatments with Galderma’s fillers or the company’s neurotoxin Dysport earn access to exclusive perks and discounts, according to Dr. Buckley.
“We invited representatives from companies, like Thermi, to demonstrate and explain the possibilities with using the devices and products,” Dr. Buckley says. “For example, our expert physician, Dr. Marina Buckley, demonstrated use of the ThermiSmooth radio frequency device to treat bags under the eyes.” ThermiSmooth, according to Dr. Buckley, gently and noninvasively heats tissue using temperature controlled radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen remodeling. “There’s no downtime, and patients generally need a series of ThermiSmooth treatments for best results,” he says.

Zeltiq Aesthetics announced in March this year the launch of a new family of CoolSculpting applicators called CoolAdvantage. The CoolAdvantage applicator delivers the CoolSculpting’s famous cooling technology at a lower temperature, reducing treatment time to about 35 minutes, and features an enhanced design, which increases patient comfort. “CoolSculpting is among our most popular procedures,” Dr. Buckley says. The FDA-approved technology works by gently cooling targeted fat cells to encourage a natural, controlled elimination of those fat cells without affecting surrounding tissue. The treated fat cells are permanently removed, he says.
