This signature event announces the “Youth of the Year” finalists

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale will host the annual Blue Door Ball to honor the top candidates who have shown superior citizenship and are role models within the grater Scottsdale Boys & Girls Clubs organization.

The Blue Door Ball is the signature fundraising event put on by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. This year’s event is being held at the Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel on Saturday, February 20, 2016. In addition to the “Youth of the Year” award, the event includes a dinner, live auction, exciting paddle raiser and jewelry pull by Kendra Scott Jewelry.

The “Youth of the Year” award is the highest honor any member of the Boys & Girls Club can receive. Finalists for this award share personal stories of triumph and success within the club and speak about how the club has transformed them into the youth they are today, allowing them a path into great futures.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale started out with 25 youth members which were nominated to compete in the Youth of the Year. Following a vigorous interview and judging process community leaders and board members, the group is down to 8 finalists with winner being announce at the blue door ball.
The Scottsdale Youth of the Year winner will then go on to compete at the state competition.
