Applied Marketing Science, Inc. (AMS), a leading-edge market research and consulting firm, is pleased to announce two senior promotions in the firm’s Litigation Support practice. Jason Och has been promoted to Principal and Caroline Otis been promoted to Associate Principal.
As Principal, Jason is responsible for client relationship management and overall firm leadership, as well as the development of new methodologies and best practices, and for providing thought leadership within the Litigation Support practice. Jason has managed a variety of high-profile Litigation Support cases and works closely with academic experts, attorneys and other stakeholders to manage quantitative and qualitative research initiatives. Jason has been with AMS since 2010, and was previously senior project director at the Boston office of Opinion Research Corporation (ORC-Guideline), a leading full-service market research firm. Jason has a B.S. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
As Associate Principal, Caroline contributes to the development and execution of strategy for the Litigation Support practice. Caroline also provides expert research consultation, expert witness testimony, and rebuttal critiques for consumer surveys designed for trademark and false advertising litigation. Prior to joining AMS in 2011, Caroline worked as an academic researcher in the field of psychology and law. In addition to research, Caroline worked as an assistant professor of psychology at Becker College and as a psychology instructor at John Jay College (CUNY). Caroline holds a B.A. in psychology from Williams College in Massachusetts, and a Ph.D. in psychology from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York.
