A smartphone app is making it easier for Mortgage Loan Officers to communicate with clients.
MobileMLO (http://www.MobileMLO.com) is a revolutionary new tool that homebuyers can download during the mortgage loan process to perform a variety tasks. The easy-to-use, time-saving smartphone app, available for download on iPhone (coming soon for Android) devices, can be used to view the “real time” status of their loan along with easily scanning and sending documents to the loan officer.
Smartphone usage has continually increased over the past few years. Two thirds of American adults now own a smartphone. For the Millennials (age 25-34), ownership is approaching 80%. With increased smartphone usage, apps like MobileMLO will be readily accepted among the current and future homebuyers or those refinancing their mortgages.
While the application can be downloaded for free by homebuyers and realtors, a loan officer must pay a small monthly fee for a license that provides free, unlimited access to a loan officer’s clients and realtors.
The application, now the number one mortgage loan officer application available for smartphones, was created by John R. Cushma, who is himself a mortgage loan officer.
“Customer service is the next competitive battleground,” Cushma said. “MobileMLO positions the Mortgage Loan Officer to enhance the customer experience. As a loan officer myself, I created this application to make it even easier for loan officers to provide exemplary customer service to all the parties involved in a home purchase or refinance.”
The feature-rich MobileMLO application lets potential homebuyers (and their realtor) watch a loan move through the application process with the app’s user-friendly “Loan Status” feature. The ‘Send Docs’ button allows homebuyers to securely submit a W2, pay stub or another important document to their loan officer by simply snapping a photo of the document and hitting send. Loan officers can customize their contact information and create profiles. They can also use the app to communicate with their clients about important information, such as home purchase price, loan amount, interest rate and monthly payment breakdown. The app also features a “countdown to closing” clock on the bottom of the home screen to generate excitement about the pending closure of the loan. Clients can also use the app to refer friends and family to the same loan officer.
MobileMLO is safe and secure for all parties; the application and website are secured by a 128-bit encryption secure server.
Loan officer John R. Cushma created MobileMLO after recognizing a need for a mobile application that would help him and his colleagues in the mortgage industry communicate more efficiently with customers in the 21st century. Today, MobileMLO and MobileMLO for Realtors is the top mortgage app online.
