Rosemont, IL (PRWEB) January 06, 2016 -- InMovement, a Productive Wellbeing™ company born into Brunswick Corporation’s fitness and active lifestyle division, announces a new general manager, Vice President Dan Wille. He joins InMovement from the division’s core fitness business, Life Fitness. This leadership announcement comes on the heels of InMovement’s global launch this past September, when the company unveiled its vision for the Activated Workplace and a suite of new products designed to unite healthy behavior with workday productivity.
“The timing for this leadership change is driven by two converging events in our division,” said Chris Clawson, division president. “InMovement has moved into a phase of full-scale production and global sales execution, while our core business is embracing solid growth. These opportunities open up new doors for our top talent throughout our organization.”
Wille joins InMovement after 22 years with Life Fitness, most recently serving as vice president overseeing the product development, engineering and marketing departments. During his tenure, Wille has also led the Life Fitness consumer business and has overseen Life Fitness, United Kingdom, setting sales records in both roles. Chosen for his ability to bring product innovation to market, and his track record of successful business unit expansion, Wille brings demonstrated executional experience to InMovement.
Wille succeeds Gary Hirschel, who will return to Life Fitness as vice president of global operations, focusing on aligning that business to its new growth goals. Hirschel served InMovement as general manager for two years. Tapped for his strength in market strategy and development, Hirschel led a growth venture exploration for Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC), Life Fitness’ parent company, ultimately shaping that effort into InMovement. Most recently, Hirschel led InMovement to its debut at the Employer Healthcare and Benefits Congress in Orlando.
InMovement aims to combat the sedentary nature of the modern workplace through products designed to blend movement seamlessly into the workday. InMovement’s core suite of products includes the Elevate DeskTop™ Series of adjustable height work surfaces, the InMovement™ TreadMill Desk, and the Integrate™ line of workplace accessories, such as anti-fatigue mats and weighted hand balls. At the healthcare congress, InMovement launched the next generation of workplace furnishings uniquely designed with movement and job function in mind.
“InMovement has made tremendous progress pushing the boundaries of traditional office furniture and expanding the reach of workplace well-being,” said Wille. “As InMovement was breaking new ground this year, my interest in workday well-being grew into a passion for its innovation potential, and I’m thrilled for the opportunity to lead the organization towards global expansion.”
For the past year, InMovement has been supporting customers that include Fortune 100 companies, law firms, small private businesses and wellness companies with products and education that blend wellbeing into the day without distracting employees from their work. Through trials, InMovement collected employee data that showed significant increases in energy and productivity, with reductions in stress, pain, discomfort and absenteeism. Employees also reported increased job satisfaction and a positive influence on other healthy behaviors as a result of working differently.
