Imperial Painting – Safe Enough for a Medical Office with No Down Time

With an arsenal of non-toxic and eco-friendly products, Imperial Painting, Inc. is prepping for a dentist office remodel

It used to be that interior painting took several days, from prep and primer to painting and dry time. Not to mention a complete shut down for businesses or a few days away for homeowners. Imperial Painting, Inc. has found a better way that is safer for the environment and the customer. The local Michigan painting contractor is getting ready to help remodel a dentist’s office with no down time needed for the office staff or patients.
Imperial Painting was one of the first Michigan contractors to start using “green” or eco-friendly materials. The industry itself has made great strides in this arena, concentrating mostly on zero VOC (volatile organic compounds) products, as well as solvent-free, oil-free and odorless paints and primers. In addition to reducing the environmental impact and being eco-friendly, these products and processes also provide solutions for painting in confined spaces, painting in medical offices and areas, homes with pets, homeowners with newborns and homeowners with respiratory problems.

Case in point, Imperial Painting is gearing up to repaint a dental office this month. The dental office will remain open while the entire interior is primed and painted with low or zero VOC products, minimizing and almost eliminating paint fumes.

“The dentist is delighted that this option exists in which he does not need to completely shut down the office to repaint,” commented Imperial Painting, Inc. owner Costas Gogos. “When customers are presented with the zero VOC options, they are excited.”The Imperial Painting team has been leading the way in safe, eco-friendly painting in Sterling Heights for the last five years. They use Sherwin Williams ProMar200 and Harmony products almost exclusively for customers’ zero VOC or “green” requests, but Gogos is encouraged by the direction of the industry. “We’ve come a long way in painting supplies, but we can still do more. I hope to see more earth friendly products and options that I can offer my customers.”
