Registration Is Open For The 2016 Shopper Marketing Summit
New York, NY (PRWEB) January 07, 2016 -- Registration is open for the Path to Purchase Institute’s Shopper Marketing Summit, an educational forum helping to define the future of consumer marketing through best practices, strategies and insights that drive shopper-centric thinking and an improved shopper experience.
On March 15-17, the Shopper Marketing Summit will return to New York City, where it originated 15 years ago. This year’s conference will take place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Midtown Manhattan.
Educational Program
The Shopper Marketing Summit’s extensive educational program offers half-day pre-Summit symposiums, retail store tours throughout New York City and 21 seminars covering a wide scope of topics including shopper marketing best practices, digital and e-commerce strategies, collaboration, insights to activation and loyalty and shopper-centric strategies. The full schedule is anchored by three general session presentations featuring five keynote speakers, including executives from Target, Wakefern, ShopRite and WPP.
Solutions Gallery
The Solutions Gallery hosts 15 leading industry partners who offer products and services that drive sales at retail. Exhibiting companies deliver a wide variety of ideas, tools and expertise in areas like social and mobile marketing, coupons, digital media, loyalty programs, merchandising and e-commerce.
Retail Academy
The Shopper Marketing Summit hosts high-level decision makers from top retail chains as part of its Retail Academy initiative. Approximately 30 senior executives from roughly 15 top retailers will attend Summit as delegates of the Retail Academy in order to meet with progressive partners to develop more sustainable and impactful shopper marketing programs.
The Shopper Marketing Celebration
The Shopper Marketing Celebration is a black-tie-optional evening of recognition for the most effective shopper marketing campaigns and top talent in the shopper marketing industry. The Shopper Marketing Celebration begins with the presentation of the 2016 Shopper Marketing Hall of Fame class, an honor bestowed upon three individuals chosen by the editors of Shopper Marketing magazine. This year’s inductees are Douwe Bergsma, CMO, Georgia-Pacific; Tony Dunning, EVP, customer development, Jack Link’s; and Barry Roberts, director, retail shopper solutions, Colgate-Palmolive.
Effie Worldwide, in partnership with the Path to Purchase Institute, will then present the winners of the 2016 Shopper Marketing Effie Awards. These prestigious awards are given to integrated campaigns that effectively solve the shopper marketing challenge, connect with the shopper, influence her along the path to purchase and inspire her to become a buyer. This year's hosts are Neal Davies, Effie Worldwide's president & CEO, and Karen Sales, VP, shopper marketing, Albertsons.
