Imagination Playground Announces Mission Achievement—2 Million More Kids Playing
(PRWEB) January 07, 2016 -- Imagination Playground, LLC, http://www.imaginationplayground.com, creators of the breakthrough play space concept that encourages child-directed, unstructured free play, announced today the achievement of their play goals—reaching 2 Million more children, 4 Million more parents, and 6 Million more educators with creative play in 2015. The company thanked its partners (schools, children’s museums, family fun centers, libraries, hospitals, and more) who responded to its call for support this past year.
To Imagination Playground, achieving the play goals means helping children, ages 2 to 9, become more involved in purposeful, child-directed play – and adults to become more aware of and engaged in the developmental benefits of play. And although the goals were lofty, 2015 was a banner year for both play and Imagination Playground.
“We are so thankful to the many schools and family centers that supported our efforts to get more children and adults playing in 2015. The mission resonated with our partners and they responded,” shared Dave Krishock, President & CEO of Imagination Playground.
“The play benefits for young students…communication, collaboration, problem-solving, self-expression, and of course, the creativity incurred by using their imagination…is immeasurable. But being able to share that we have impacted 2 Million more children this year with the benefits of creative play is monumental,” Krishock went on to say.
“We look forward to 2016 and the partnerships we can form to bring our Big Blue Block play to even more children. If you would like to join in on our mission this year, please reach out to us—we’d love to help you help kids play,” Krishock concluded.
