Lake Michigan Mailers, Inc. Announces 2016 Charity Partners

Lake Michigan Mailers, Inc. has selected its Charity Partners for 2016. The Charity Partners Program was formally introduced by Lake Michigan Mailers in 2010 as a way to provide needed funds to worthy organizations and provide cross-marketing support through the company’s community engagement network.

Lake Michigan Mailers, Inc. announced today that it has selected its Charity Partners for 2016. Formally introduced by Lake Michigan Mailers in 2010, the Charity Partners Program provides for charitable giving to a select group of worthy causes and provides each charitable organization with meaningful, structured funding and cross-marketing support through the company’s community engagement network throughout the entire year. Charity Partner selection is based on a written application and supporting documentation from the charitable organizations, and is open to registered charities throughout the United States. Applications are then carefully reviewed by the Rhoa family, founders and owners of Lake Michigan Mailers.

The Lake Michigan Mailers Charity Partners for 2016 include:

  •     Bronson Health Foundation
  •     Center for the Homeless
  •     Food Bank of Northern Indiana
  •     Food Bank of South Central Michigan
  •     The Foundation of Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center
  •     Greater Kalamazoo Girls on the Run
  •     Mattawan Food Packs
  •     Relay for Life of Mishawaka (American Cancer Society)
  •     Relay for Life of Richland Area (American Cancer Society)
  •     St. Vincent de Paul – Mattawan Conference
  •     St. Vincent de Paul – St. Joseph Conference
  •     Van Buren County Youth Fair
  •     YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo

While Lake Michigan Mailers donates and contributes to a wide spectrum of worthy causes, favor tends to be given to organizations and events that support, but are not limited to, the following categories:

  •     Issues and Advocacy Related to the Wellbeing of Children
  •     Mentoring or Educating Youth on Entrepreneurialism
  •     Feeding, Clothing, and Sheltering the Poor
  •     Small Business Issues, Small Business Advocacy, Public Policy Issues Related to    Businesses Serviced by Lake Michigan Mailers

Charitable organizations seeking future participation in the Lake Michigan Mailers’ Charity Partners Program are asked to complete the Charity Partners Program Application found on the company’s website at http://bit.ly/lmmcharitypartners. Applications are traditionally reviewed in November and December and awarded in January.
