North Tucson Fitness Boot Camp to Raise Money for Local Children at Grand Opening
North Tucson, Ariz (PRWEB) January 11, 2016 -- Craig Jackson, owner of North Tucson Fit Body Boot Camp, will be holding a Grand Opening event on January 23rd, 2016 from 9am to 5pm at 6430 N. Swan Road #110, North Tucson, AZ. Jackson will be holding training sessions as well as a raffle for memberships and training sessions in the future. There will also be a fundraiser going on for the Foothills Club of Tucson, a charity that provides funding for local children’s charities.
Fit Body Boot Camp is the world’s fastest growing and most popular indoor fitness boot camp brand, with hundreds of locations worldwide. The boot camp’s unique brand of fitness combines individualized personal training from licensed professionals, clinically proven Afterburn workouts, and nutritional guidance to guarantee weight loss results.
Craig began his fitness journey after he struggled with his own weight several years ago.
“From 2000 to 2008 I had gained weight at an alarming rate and peaked out at just over 320 pounds…I dropped over 100 pounds by simply getting active and fixing my nutrition,” Jackson explains. “People were shocked that I could lead a very normal social life and still keep dropping my weight. I didn’t see anywhere that was providing this kind of help by inspiring changes in habits, which is where sustainable change lies. I became a man on a mission to help bring this simple solution to my community here in Tucson.”
So, in 2010, Craig became NASM certified and now looks forward to opening his first Fit Body Boot Camp in hope of reaching even more members of the community and helping them reach their fitness goals. Craig plans to hold complimentary training sessions throughout the day and hold a raffle for memberships and other prizes. One of these raffles will be benefiting the Foothills Club of Tucson, a local charity groups whose goal is to help local children’s charities.
The mission of the Foothills Club of Tucson is to bring together a mix of business owners, professionals and community leaders who share a common goal of supporting the community and raising money for the local children and families in need. Their purpose is to demonstrate compassion and kindheartedness to the citizens of Tucson and surrounding communities.
The event will also feature services being offered by local businesses as well as an indoor dodge ball game to encourage people to have fun while working out. The Red Door Spa will be at the event giving chair massages and have donated services to the raffle as well.
