RadPad, a mobile rental marketplace, today announced that MasterCard cardholders can now enjoy the convenience of paying rent with their MasterCard-branded credit or debit cards, MasterPass digital wallet or via iPhone and Android apps. Using Pay with RadPad, renters can pay their rent the same way they request an Uber or pay for coffee - even if their landlord isn’t on the service.
Renters simply use the Pay with RadPad “My Rent” button to enter their rent amount, due date and landlord or management company’s name and address. Cardholders who then opt to pay with their MasterCard-branded credit cards will pay their rent on time and at a low 1.99% processing fee.
“RadPad processed more than $40 million in credit, debit and mobile rent payments last year as renters finally retired their checkbooks to make their largest monthly payment on time," said Jonathan Eppers, co-founder and CEO of RadPad. “We’re excited to be working with MasterCard to make the option of paying rent with a credit card even more attractive and rewarding.”
RadPad has also entered into an agreement with MasterCard to offer its users the ability to pay with MasterPass. The MasterPass digital wallet enables consumers to pay for the things they want with the security they demand, anywhere online or in-app, using any device. MasterPass securely stores shoppers' preferred payment information so it is readily accessible when they check out.
RadPad is a mobile rental marketplace available on iTunes, Google Play and onradpad.com. Born out of the frustration of finding a cool place to live, Jonathan Eppers, Tyler Galpin and Tim Watson launched RadPad in January 2013. It has quickly grown to become the largest apartment search and rent payment service nationwide among renters. RadPad has raised $13M in funding to date from investors including Altpoint Ventures and Goldcrest Investments. For more information visit: http://www.onradpad.com.
