Benchmark Research today announced a new operating structure and the promotion of key staff who have been integral to the company’s success, as well as a new headquarters location in Austin, Texas.

Benchmark Research today announced a new operating structure and the promotion of key staff who have been integral to the company’s success, as well as a new headquarters location in Austin.

The premiere integrated site management organization is led by CEO Mark Lacy with the support of his recently promoted executive team: Deborah Copeland as Chief Operations Officer (COO); Kathy Stoddard as Chief Financial Officer (CFO); Melissa Reynolds as Executive Vice President, Clinical Operations; Jennifer Bacchi as Vice President, Human Capital Management; and Kim Brittain as Vice President, Strategic Development and Analytics.

“Over the years Benchmark Research has built a strong, capable team, and with these promotions their leadership and vision will help ensure we are able to continue on the path of success and achieve our goals,” said Mr. Lacy. “This team represents an average of 25 years of global research experience in key positions with sponsors, CROs, and clinical research sites.”

Scott Barrett, formerly COO of Benchmark Research and a founding member of the company, will remain a driving force as he takes on the new challenge of leading the Benchmark Urgent and Family Care business. Ben Lacy, formerly CFO of Benchmark Research, is stepping down from the company but will continue as a trusted advisor. Both changes are effective January 1, 2016.

Benchmark Research now operates from 3100 Red River Street, Austin, TX 78705. Mr. Lacy said, “I am delighted to begin welcoming patients and client representatives to our newly purchased and renovated headquarters.”
