“We wanted a name that would not only encompass the move towards a true family adventure destination, but also represent our commitment to the surrounding community” said Jeff Woodward.

With the new year and new owners, the former Liquid Planet Waterpark is beginning to unveil some exciting plans for the future, beginning with a new name - Candia Springs Adventure Park. “We wanted a name that would not only encompass the move towards a true family adventure destination, but also represent our commitment to the surrounding community” said Jeff Woodward, managing partner of NLI, LLC who recently purchased the park from auction. “We’re proud to be a part of this community and to be able to offer southern NH residents a unique family attraction, right in their own backyard.” NLI currently owns and operates Alpine Adventures and Whale’s Tale Waterpark in Lincoln, two award winning attractions in the White Mountains of NH.

While full design plans have not been released, the initial expansion includes a seamless integration of a challenge / adventure course spread across a portion of the forty-five available acres of the property. This attraction will be unlike any other in the state and utilize the natural landscape of the property along with custom built obstacles to create a unique, challenging and fun experience for the whole family. It will also include a taste of the Off-Road thrills offered by Alpine Adventures, utilizing the same “Pinzgauer” military vehicles they use in their award winning tours. This new attraction will also allow the park to lengthen their season.

It was also announced that the two speed slides which were closed in 2015 would be brought into compliance, in addition to other minor enhancements of current park facilities. The new owners also made it clear that the initial expansion plans would not adversely affect the current waterpark facilities. “Longtime fans will still be able to enjoy the family friendly atmosphere that our parks are known for. The aquatic features of Candia Springs will continue to be perfect for younger visitors and families who are looking to avoid the sometimes overwhelming experience of some larger waterparks” said Woodward.

A new, lower priced general admission ticket of $20 for the waterpark was announced along with pricing for the other attractions. The challenge adventure course will be $39 and combination waterpark/challenge course tickets will be available for $49. The zipline ticket will be just $10 and will include a taste of the off road adventure. Opening date is planned for early to mid June.

With two of the most successful and highly rated tourism attractions in the state, NLI has built a reputation of creating unique experiences and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Alpine Adventures is the first, largest and most award winning Zipline destination in New England and Whale’s Tale Waterpark has been named one of TripAdvisor’s “Top 25 Water Parks in the U.S.” NLI hopes to use this experience and philosophy to build something truly unique and special in southern NH. As CEO Jeb Boyd said, “We’re very excited to welcome Candia Springs Adventure Park to our family. We’re confident that we can create a family friendly gem in southern New Hampshire that all ages will be able to enjoy.”
