Mark Hill Appointed President & CEO of CHA
Elmwood Park, NJ (PRWEB) January 11, 2016 -- The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) Board of Directors announced today the appointment of Mark Hill as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Hill was serving as Interim President and CEO since August 2015.
“During his interim tenure, it was clear that Mark’s vision for CHA is aligned with the Board’s strategic goal of expanding CHA’s role internationally and strengthening its position as a thought-leader and business catalysts for its members and the creative products industry,” said David Murray, Chairman of the CHA Board of Directors. “With his deep business experience and forward-looking execution, we are confident that Mark is the right person to lead CHA in this exciting new direction of member benefits and growth.”
Mr. Hill brings to CHA more than 20 years experience in the creative products industry. He has held senior management positions with leading companies including Plaid Enterprises, Creativity Inc., New Image Group and most recently the Thomas Kinkade Company. As an active and committed CHA Member, Mr. Hill also served two terms on the CHA Board of Directors from 2009 through 2014. During his Board terms he led the International Committee’s initiative to successfully establish CHA-UK, in addition to chairing the Nominating, International, and Market Research Committees.
