The Market Technicians Association (MTA), the governing body for the Chartered Market Technician®(CMT) Program, Association is pleased to announce the 2016 Curriculum for all exam levels was released on Amazon and sold out the first day, with a total of 200 sold in the first week. A Wiley spokesman stated that resellers have stocked back up and print copies are available as of Monday, January 11th.

The CMT Program is offered in a self-study format. There are three levels of exams, each one building on the previous. The levels progressively narrow in focus while increasing the emphasis on higher-order reasoning. The final exam requires candidates to implement critical analysis to arrive at well-supported recommendations in a professional investing/trading context.

Each Level contains exam-specific knowledge domains that provide a framework for recognizing and implementing investment and trading opportunities. You can register to take the exam for each Level separately.
