Enterprise product information solution recognized for strong workflow capabilities and user-friendly interface

EnterWorks, a market leader in master data solutions for transforming product information into persuasive and personalized content, was included in Gartner’s Critical Capabilities for Master Data Management (MDM) of Product Data Solutions report. This research focuses on the customer experience and prevalence of capabilities as an indication of the key use cases where customers are using a vendor’s technology.

The report evaluated each vendor on capabilities to support the four major MDM implementation use cases for product data solutions: registry, consolidation, coexistence and centralized.

“We’re improving at a rapid pace, and have made many changes over the past year that are driving real results for our customers,” said Rick Chavie, CEO of EnterWorks.

Examples include the coexistence-style implementation, where master data authoring is distributed and a golden copy is maintained in the MDM hub, and in the centralized style, where master data is authored, stored and accessed from a central system.

“Having success in the co-existence and centralized styles are core elements of our strategy to provide a single view of content across the content value chain in actual and referenceable implementations at our customers,” said Chavie. “The industry acknowledges the need to bring both physical and digital product information under one roof to serve today’s omnichannel content needs. It’s important for manufacturers and retailers alike to deliver a differentiated customer experience based on complete and accurate content across all channels.”

The research also analyzed the prevalence of capabilities that provide a quality user experience.

“We are continuing to invest in front-end development for a user friendly-experience in managing content across channel partners and customer touchpoints,” said Chavie. “It’s crucial that everyone along the content value chain is able to use the technology with ease in order for it to produce the desired results. It’s great to be recognized for our status above competitors in terms of the platform and the references that reflect the results of using our platform by our customers.”

The results of Gartner’s analysis reflect the increasing importance of centralized product content systems within the manufacturing and retail industries given the digitization of commerce today. For more information about EnterWorks, visit http://www.enterworks.com.
