MolecularMatch Adds Key Staff to Support Upcoming Product Launch
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) January 15, 2016 -- MolecularMatch, Inc., announced today two key hires to support their growing sales and development efforts. Janice Steiner has been hired as the Director of Business Development, Sales and Marketing. Ms. Steiner has 20+ years of experience in sales leadership and marketing in the biotechnology and healthcare industries. She has a track record in lab diagnostics and sales including numerous product launches, leadership roles and most recently as Sr. Director of Sales at Pathway Genomics, Inc.

Ryan Duren, PhD., also joined the organization as a Knowledge Scientist. Dr. Duren holds a PhD. in Integrative Molecular and Biomedical Sciences from Baylor. He recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in liquid tumor drug response at Baylor College of Medicine.
“I am excited to apply all the advanced training I’ve experienced over the past few years to ultimately help patients,” Dr. Duren said. “I look forward to working with the team to further develop their already extensive platform.”
Dr. Duren has significant experience using advanced analytics and data mining tools for large-scale data assets. Dr. Duren will help define and test algorithms and business rules for MolecularMatch’s knowledge engine. He will also direct efforts for the training and validation of treatment results.
Ms. Steiner and Dr. Duren were chosen specifically to support the commercial launch and continuing development of an anticipated software to diagnostic laboratories. Ms. Steiner will lead sales and marketing of the new product through customer outreach, conference presence, deal creation and the eventual build out of a commercial sales organization. Dr. Duren supports the machine intelligence training of the system, applying his own knowledge as an accomplished cancer biologist into the QA algorithm.
