European-based premium real estate brand, Engel & Völkers, announced today the sale of an exquisite Bel-Air compound, belonging to international celebrity, Connie Stevens. The actress, singer, and director is best known for her roles in films such as “Maverick” with James Gardner, as well as her Top 100 Billboard hit songs, including “Sixteen Reasons.” Located in one of Los Angeles’ most luxurious and sought after neighborhoods, the estate sold for $17,000,000. Originally designed in the late 1930s by celebrated architect Paul Williams, Stevens purchased the 1.91 acre spread for $350,000 in February of 1974.

The main residence, an 8,460-square-foot white brick center hall Colonial style property, boasts seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, two half bathrooms in addition to a two-bedroom staff suite. Among the extensive gardens that cover the grounds are also a separate chauffeur’s apartment, two contemporary, one-bedroom townhouse-style guesthouses that overlook the stunning swimming pool, a stylish pool house, and a sunken, fully-lit tennis court.
