The North American Center for Continuing Medical Education, LLC (NACCME) is pleased to announce the 2016 Pharmacy Learning Network regional meetings, a series of 1-day, live Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) accredited events.

The North American Center for Continuing Medical Education, LLC (NACCME) is pleased to announce the 2016 Pharmacy Learning Network regional meetings, a series of 1-day, live Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) accredited events. The meeting series features a newly structured agenda focused on meeting the diverse needs of health-system pharmacists.

Attendees of the Pharmacy Learning Network meetings will learn about the current and critical topics most important to them. The content of the meeting will be applicable to the issues learners face every day as a health-system pharmacist, which will allow them to implement what they learn into their practice setting immediately.

The Pharmacy Learning Network 2016 Advisory Board members are Randolph V. Fugit, PharmD, BCPS; Susan Cornell, PharmD, CDE, FAPHA, FAADE; Paul P. Dobesh, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS (AQ Cardiology); Christopher A. Fausel, PharmD, BCPS, BCOP; Matthew Grissinger, RPH, FISMP, FASCP; James S. Lewis II, PharmD, FIDSA and Mark A. Munger, PharmD, FCCP, FACC.

Upon successful completion of the pharmacy education program, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the changing role of health-system pharmacists as it relates to direct patient care.
  • Utilize the latest guidelines and available pharmacotherapies to improve patient and practice management.
  • Evaluate clinical pearls with a goal of achieving pharmacy best practices.
