Fourth Annual Festivals of Speed and Amelia Island Select Auctions return to the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort; Porsche to be featured marque
ORLANDO, FLORIDA (PRWEB) January 20, 2016 -- The Fourth Annual Festivals of Speed along with the Amelia Island Select Auction returns to the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort March 11-12 2016. Over 300 exotic cars, motorcycles and luxury brands will be featured for display on the fairways and inside the ballrooms of the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort.
The itinerary for the weekend is as follows:
Friday, March 11th Amelia Island Select presents the 2nd Annual Porsche Sports Car Auction.
The ballrooms of the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort will host a Porsche sports car auction from 3:00-8:00pm. Following last year’s success, this year’s Porsche sports car auction has grown in size and features examples of both vintage and contemporary Porsche sports cars, including a the legendary Carrera GT, the air cooled turbo years as well as early 911’s and 356 vehicles.
Friday Luxury Lifestyle Cocktail Reception at Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort. The reception takes place inside the Grand Ballroom from 8:00-11:00pm and will see a collection of rare and unique exotic automobiles, motorcycles and luxury brands. The reception will feature gourmet food, premium brand bars and a live band. The reception is complimentary for registered auction bidders of any auction that weekend as well as registered concours automobile display participants. Proper credentials will be required for access.
Fourth Annual Festivals of Speed Motorsports display at Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort.
Saturday, March 12th from 10:00am-4:00pm will see a display of over 200+ exotic cars, motorcycles and luxury brands placed for display on a pristine fairway overlooking the water. This expansive fairway offers magnificent views of the waterways and surrounding resort property. Automotive designs by Porsche, Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Aston-Martin, BMW, Mercedes, TESLA, McLaren and more will all be on display. In addition guests will enjoy fine wines, exciting culinary offerings, automotive art, smooth jazz, cigar lounges and luxury brand displays. A live and silent auction will benefit Communities in Schools of Nassau County.
