All Terrain Charts New Era of Growth by Adding Best-in-Class Experts to Agency Leadership
Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) January 19, 2016 -- All Terrain, a strategic experiential marketing agency based in Chicago, is ringing in the New Year with the hire of 28-year industry veteran, Rick Miller, as President. With him, Miller brings two accomplished experiential marketing professionals, Courtney Warren and Dan Brice, to the agency.
Prior to joining All Terrain, Miller served as the Chief Operating Officer at Marketing Werks, Inc., one of the largest independent experiential marketing agencies in the country at the time of its acquisition in 2013. During Miller’s more than 14 year-tenure, he helped organically grow agency revenue by 1900%, around $100 million by 2013. Miller’s leadership at Marketing Werks included overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations and working with name brands such as Verizon, Sony Electronics, Hershey, PlayStation, JPMorgan Chase and Walgreens. Before joining Marketing Werks, Inc., Miller served as the Vice President of Sports and Events Marketing at KemperLesnik.
“Without a doubt, Rick’s broad category experience and operational prowess will help fuel All Terrain’s next chapter of growth and scale,” said Sarah Eck-Thompson, co-founder and COO of All Terrain. “He is a gifted and responsible leader with a demonstrated ability to expand an agency, while at the same time elevating the people who help define it.”
As President of All Terrain, Miller will oversee and manage all operating functions at the agency. His primary tasks will include charting the agency’s strategic direction, managing and leading the agency leadership team, creating and implementing process improvements across the company and retaining and growing the client base.
“The experiential marketing industry is in a period of strong growth and All Terrain has been at the forefront for over 18 years” said Brook Jay, co-founder of All Terrain. “Consumers are increasingly becoming more difficult to reach through traditional marketing methods alone. All Terrain is an agile and innovative agency that continues to make great strides in helping solve this problem for businesses.”
Joining the agency alongside Miller are Courtney Warren, who will assume the role of VP of Client Services, and Dan Brice, who will serve as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing. Each has more than 10 years of experience in the industry, serving in significant roles under Miller at Marketing Werks, Inc. and subsequently at other prominent Chicago experiential agencies.
Warren is charged with executive leadership of all existing client work at All Terrain. This includes strategic and creative development of our client programs, operational management of the activation and execution work, reporting and metric analysis, along with complete oversight of both field and internal staff. Before coming to All Terrain, Warren was Managing Director at Revolution Chicago, where she led client services for the experiential and hospitality teams and was responsible for all profit and loss management across 10 unique clients, including Northwestern Mutual, Anheuser-Busch, ESPN, Shape Magazine & Continental Tire. Prior to her time at Revolution Chicago, Warren was Group Account Manager at Marketing Werks, Inc. where she spent seven years.
Brice will be responsible for the acceleration of agency growth across both existing and new client platforms. He will work hand-in-hand with agency leadership as well as the creative services and strategy and insight departmental heads to drive our new business efforts. Additionally, Brice will help develop, implement and oversee the agency's marketing communication plan. He joins All Terrain from agencyEA where he served as VP of Production, producing B-to-B and B-to-C events for well-known brands like Hilton World Wide, GE, ComEd, Target and Under Armour. Prior to that, Brice worked with Miller at Marketing Werks, Inc. for 16 years, where he rose in the ranks to Senior Vice President Client Service, managing more than $20 million book of business, spanning 12 major clients.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining Courtney and Dan to shape the next era of All Terrain and the experiential marketing landscape,” said Miller. “I plan to amplify and build on the great work All Terrain has historically provided its client partners.”
