Our RCM, Billing and Collections has been a tremendous success and we're excited to roll it out nationally!
Oak Ridge, TN (PRWEB) January 19, 2016
AllMeds Inc. announced new solutions developments, the national expansion of its Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services and unveiled new corporate branding, including the first major update to its logo since the company was founded nearly 20 years ago. The announcements occurred at the company’s national headquarters in Oak Ridge, TN, which was attended by company founders, executives and employees, as well as the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce and local officials and dignitaries.
Speaking at the event, AllMeds CEO, William Rust, said that the new RCM services would be offered alongside the company’s successful electronic health record (EHR) and practice management (PM) services. “As the healthcare environment has become more complex and demanding, customers have asked us to provide them with both technology solutions and services,” Rust explained. “AllMeds’ foundation will continue to be our EHR and Practice Manager, since it’s those very solutions that allow us to provide effective billing and payment services. Adding RCM allows us to provide the full range of solutions and services our customers have asked for and need.”
Those foundational solutions will see significant investment and development throughout a technology-heavy 2016, with many updates and additions to its EHR and Practice Manager product lines. These offerings have experienced dramatic evolutions in the last five years, to meet increasing functional requirements from federal programs, industry pressures and customer requests. AllMeds will release a newly-certified EHR later this year to comply with federal “Meaningful Use” programs and expects to add significant new capabilities to its Practice Management solution, as well. Of even more long-term significance will be the company’s coming transition to a fully web-based solution, which will provide both AllMeds and its customers with greater functionality, more flexibility, and fewer technology issues.
AllMeds’ expansion of its RCM, billing and payment services comes two years after a limited rollout. Since then, the company has built a growing and effective team of experienced managers, Certified Professional Coders (CPC) and support staff. Over the last 24 months, the team helped customers recover significant reimbursements that had already been written off, dramatically reduce their Accounts Receivables and implement new and improved processes to ensure more accurate coding and faster reimbursements. A team that consisted of only a few employees 18 months ago will soon have grown many times over, as AllMeds flips the switch and offers it on a much wider basis. “It’s been a tremendous success and we’re excited to roll it out nationally” Rust said.
To reflect the company’s dramatic growth and new services, major components of its branding and corporate identity have been updated. A new logo and color scheme was unveiled and will be infused throughout AllMeds’ product lines and marketing pieces, including its website, trade show booth, product collateral and signage. The new logo aligns the company with today’s dominant design trends that favor simpler colors, lines and minimalist designs for improved legibility, greater ease of use, and faster load times. Descriptive text in the logo (“Specialty Practice Services”) has been simplified, yet also broadened, to more accurately reflect AllMeds’ enterprise-wide offerings.
Rust explained the updated look: “Technology companies need to project a modern image and we wanted our logo to reflect that AllMeds’ solutions and services are not only world-class, but also cutting-edge. The new logo retains key elements of earlier versions, but it also conveys a more contemporary and streamlined image and will be more adaptable in different settings. And, after the last two, busy years, there’s no telling where we’ll need to put it next!”
