Rings will be presented on Tuesday, April 5 during a special pregame ceremony

Jostens and the Kansas City Royals have announced they will partner once again to create a championship ring to commemorate the team’s 2015 World Series Championship. The one-of-a-kind ring will be presented to members of the 2015 team during a special on-field ceremony on April 5, 2016 prior to the 3:15 game against the New York Mets.

“We are pleased to partner again with Jostens to design and create our World Series Championship Rings that tell the story of a spectacular season,” said Royals president Dan Glass. “Once the final out is recorded to win a World Series Championship everything seems to happen so quickly it becomes difficult to remember every detail of the ride. The World Series ring commemorating that title is forever and will be the one memory that all of us associated with the 2015 team will always have with us.”

“Jostens is honored to collaborate once again with the Kansas City Royals to create a truly spectacular ring that commemorates an incredible season and honors their championship win,” said Chris Poitras, vice president, Jostens. “Our master jewelers are working closely with members of the Royals organization to create a brilliant symbol to recognize the team’s accomplishment.”

Founded in 1897, Jostens has produced championship rings for professional sports teams and athletes for more than 60 years. In addition to collaborating with the Royals, Jostens has worked with other hometown Kansas City-area championship sports organizations including the Kansas City Chiefs and Sporting Kansas City.
