iti Direct Mail Drops its Minimum for Letter Printing Services

As marketing teams across the globe are outlining their marketing strategies for 2016, one of the nation’s top direct mail and printing service companies has decreased the minimum amount it requires for printing and mailing services.

When it comes to letter printing, marketing departments in both large and small companies try to save as much as they can on direct mail services to increase their return on investment, and representatives with iti Direct Mail (http://letterprinting.net) announced today that its minimum for letter printing has been reduced to only 50 pieces.

“We've reduced our minimum to 50 pieces to accommodate our clients that have smaller jobs to be printed and mailed,” said Alan Barseghian, marketing director of iti Direct Mail, whose specialty product is printing mail merged letters with envelopes that appear very personalized and do not look like junk mail.

Barseghian pointed out that even at 50 pieces per order clients can have the job mailed at a discounted bulk rate of $0.28 per piece versus the regular first class rate of $0.49 per piece, even though the U.S. Post Office’s minimum for mailing bulk rate mail is 250 pieces per job.

“We comingle all of our customer’s mail into one large order, this way we always meet the Post Office 250 piece minimums,” Barseghian said, before adding, “This is how we are able to save our customers so much money on the cost of postage.”

This new minimum mailing reduction could prove to be good timing for companies that are coming into the new year with reduced marketing budgets after spending so much on holiday marketing and as a result have much smaller jobs to complete, but find that most printing and mailing houses have much larger minimums.

The company spokesman went on to note that in addition to the recent reduction of the minimum amount for printing services, iti Direct Mail’s handwritten fonts can help get their customer’s envelopes opened.

“We print the handwritten fonts with blue ink and this really adds a realistic effect,” Barseghian said. “We also use real peel and stick postage stamps, at no additional cost, and for customers who use pre-canceled discount postage stamps we can print a cancelation over the postage stamps, this can add to the personalized look of the envelope while keeping the postage cost down.”
