Spire Hospitality Completes More Than $125 Million Of Renovations In 2015
CHICAGO (PRWEB) January 21, 2016 -- Spire Hospitality, one of the nation’s leading and most respected hotel management companies, will kick off 2016 having just completed more than $125 million in hotel renovations and re-positionings in 2015, working in partnership with AWH Development, a subsidiary of AWH Partners.

Kicking off 2016 will be the opening of the beautiful Staybridge Suites hotel in midtown Atlanta in early January as part of our dual brand Crowne Plaza, Staybridge development in this very dynamic market. “Launching this first extended stay product in our first co-branded development is an exciting next step in our company’s growth,” DeForrest said. “Opening the Staybridge Suites and completing the total transformation of the Crowne Plaza, including all 360 guestrooms, 33,000 square feet of meeting and conference space, 24 hour expanded fitness center, two restaurants and lounges, extensive market and Thrive coffee bar, totally transforms this asset within the very dynamic midtown Atlanta market all within 18 months of the hotel’s acquisition.”
As part of the more than $50 million transformation of Spire’s Embassy Suite portfolio, the Embassy Suites by Hilton El Paso, Texas will open in mid-January. Having spent all of 2015 completely renovating and repositioning its 1,904 suite Embassy Suites portfolio, located in some of the most dynamic markets across the country, these hotels are all posed to have a great 2016.
The Spire Hospitality team will be renovating and enhancing the 1,004-room DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld with a new 30,000 square foot conference center and major public space improvements. In addition, The Westin Dallas Park Central will undergo $20 million in significant renovations of the 536 rooms and 42,000 square feet of meeting and event space and debut a beautifully transformed facility in 2016.
