Cherry Hill, NJ (PRWEB) January 25, 2016 -- AlzBetter, a provider of technology-enabled, home-based care programs for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients, is pleased to announce that Gabe Stein has joined their organization as President. In this role, Mr. Stein will be responsible for AlzBetter’s overall business operations, direction and strategy.
“We are excited to have Mr. Stein join our team,” said Gary Skole, AlzBetter’s Chief Executive Officer. “His skill set, relationships and vision are exactly what we need to further our growth in the marketplace at this stage in our company’s development. The prevalence of Alzheimer's and dementia related diseases continue to rise and place a tremendous burden on the healthcare system. At AlzBetter, our mission is to help ease that burden, while improving patient care."
Mr. Stein is an accomplished business executive in the healthcare industry. He brings extensive experience in building successful leadership teams, his proven track record in operationalizing healthcare delivery systems and his understanding of healthcare payer/provider strategy to AlzBetter. Prior to his appointment at AlzBetter, he served as the Managing Director at Peak Health Solutions, a leading provider of medical coding and risk adjustment solutions, which he founded in 2004. During his tenure, he developed additional offerings that improved Peak’s revenue stream and diversified the business, including an in-home health assessment program for Medicare Advantage health plans. Prior to founding Peak, Mr. Stein acted at the National Sales Manager for Maxim Healthcare Services, a leading provider of nurse staffing services. In this role, he helped to launch several new business lines and founded the medical coding division.
“I joined AlzBetter because their deep commitment to improve the quality of life for both Alzheimer’s patients and their family caretakers strongly aligns with my own calling to advance patient care for seniors,” stated Stein, AlzBetter’s new President. “I believe that through our technology, care coordination and community outreach, we have the unique opportunity to affect positive change in the well-being of everyone involved in care of dementia patients. ”
