Dr. Kevin Sadati Presents His Facelift Technique Using Local Anesthesia at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery’s Florida Meeting
Newport Beach, CA (PRWEB) January 22, 2016 -- Dr. Kevin Sadati, a well-respected facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, spoke about his specially developed facelift method at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery’s Florida meeting on January 14, 2016. His presentation, titled “Minimally Invasive Facelift with Local Anesthesia and Oral Sedation,” offered other surgeons and medical personnel insight into Dr. Sadati’s unique and specially developed technique. Each year, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery holds meetings around the United States. These meetings give highly skilled plastic surgeons the chance to share the latest in plastic and reconstructive surgery processes and advances with their peers.
Throughout his long career, Dr. Sadati has developed many different procedures that improve on common procedures, including facelifts and neck lifts. Dr. Sadati’s Double “C” Plication Technique, a minimally invasive muscle tightening method, is a special procedure that offers natural looking results as opposed to the “tight” look traditional facelifts tend to create. The procedure tightens the muscles in the face and neck in two layers in a gradual manner. The lower face is softly lifted to create a more youthful look, but prevents the “pulled” look. This technique still offers a tightened, smooth and rejuvenated neck and lower face.
“As people age, the neck and lower face tends to sag. This can be brought on by stress, lifestyle and the pull of gravity over time,” Dr. Sadati explains. “My specially developed Double ‘C’ Plication Technique is a safer and more reliable technique for creating a more youthful look in the lower face and neck. This technique can be used for any patient seeking correction of generalized lower face and neck laxity.” For his paper “The Double ‘C’ Plication Technique: A Reliable Technique for Lower Facial Rejuvenation,” published in The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Sadati performed over 2500 facelifts using his simple technique and local anesthesia, resulting in a more natural looking and longer lasting facelift.
Dr. Sadati’s natural facelift technique offers long-lasting and more youthful looking results. Unlike many facial plastic surgeons, Dr. Sadati does not use general anesthesia. Instead, he uses local anesthesia and twilight sedation. These options are considered safer alternatives to general anesthesia, as the patients are completely sedation there for reduces risks and complications associated with general anesthesia.
