Ashburn, VA (PRWEB) January 23, 2016 -- Westmoore hosted exclusive Private Preview Events on Saturday, January 9, 2016 and Saturday, January 16, 2016 – inviting guests to be the very first to preview the all-new, metropolitan townhome designs and secure an early purchase opportunity in their modern metro community. The Private Preview Events were well attended with guests lining up outside the door prior to opening.
Guests were able to nosh on heavy hor’douvers, enjoy drinks and hear all that Westmoore has planned for this new urban community, located just steps to the future Silver Line Metro – Ashburn Station. Guests were also the first to see new floorplans from both NVHomes and Ryan Homes, schedule appointments for private tours of the models, and be among the first to have the opportunity to receive Priority List pricing. The Private Preview Events resulted in 16 home sales to date. All five of the model homes were sold for $550,000-$710,000 within the first week of presales.

(http://www.nvrinc.com) and the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation (http://www.claudemoorefoundation.org), broke ground on Westmoore on June 18, 2015 with Loudoun County Chairman, Scott York and other County Officials in attendance.
Westmoore is conveniently located at the Dulles Greenway and Loudoun County Parkway interchange along the future Silver Line Metro in Ashburn, Virginia. The community includes 599 metropolitan designed townhomes and single family attached city homes in two phases – just ¼ mile to Ashburn Station, scheduled to open in 2020.
NVHomes and Ryan Homes have designed new traditional and contemporary models with spacious, open floorplans, fine designer features, indoor/outdoor living spaces, and lots of natural light. “We’re excited to be creating an urban community with NVHomes and Ryan Homes within walking distance to metro,” said Kevin McAndrews, President of Atapco Properties. “Our builders’ homes are being built around community parks with artistically designed playgrounds, a landscaped tiered amphitheater built into the natural topography, an urban dog park, and miles of trails connecting Westmoore to the broader urban environment.” Westmoore will also offer residents resort-style amenities to include a modern designed clubhouse, fitness and yoga center, outdoor pools with cabanas, indoor café, and a wraparound deck with pond views.
“Westmoore is truly bringing new urbanism to Loudoun County,” continued Kevin McAndrews. “We have always enjoyed our partnership with NVHomes and Ryan Homes on other projects and this is no different. They have exceeded our expectations in regards to their new urban home designs and their Models are truly a showcase.”
Westmoore’s Private Preview appointments will continue through January 2016 and the community will be opening to the public on February 6, 2016. The Grand Opening event will be held onsite at 43393 Ghazwa Square, Ashburn, VA 20148. Attendees will enjoy a catered event by a local upscale restaurant. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the decorated models, meet the sales team, and hear all that Westmoore has planned for making Metro Living Simplified. Claude Moore Charitable Foundation was established in 1987 by Dr. Claude Moore, a successful physician and Northern Virginia landowner who left most of his fortune in trust for the purpose of enhancing educational opportunities for young people throughout the Commonwealth and beyond. Dr. Moore left his estate to the Foundation to increase its capacity for philanthropy.
The bulk of his estate consisted of real estate, most of which was in Loudoun County, Virginia. To further the Foundation's ability to carry out Dr. Moore's philanthropic goals, the foundation has systematically sold a large portion of his vast real estate holdings and is currently focused on a disposition strategy for the Moorefield Station project.
