With more than 40 years of combined experience in public accounting and auditing, the newly promoted Partners and Principal are strategically positioned to use their increased roles to deepen O’Connor Davies’ broad expertise in a variety of specialty practices.

Matthew Corona, CPA, currently specializes in the growing field of employee benefit programs. As Engagement Manager, Corona oversaw more than 60 employee benefit plan audits annually and provided expert services to clients including a large medical center’s and museum’s pension plans. Corona shares his industry insights among his colleagues by teaching continuing professional education courses to O’Connor Davies employees and is a recognized thought leader in the accounting industry.
Jeff Shaver, CPA, has been with O’Connor Davies for more than 10 years, focusing on on-site supervision of audit engagements. He previously served as Senior Manager for the audit and advisory services provided to privately held companies, counties, cities, towns and school districts. In addition, he has led training seminars on government finance for elected officials, governing board members and other professionals. As a Partner, Shaver will provide valuable expertise on overseeing the entire audit engagement process.
Jonathan Zuckerman, CPA, will continue to specialize in providing expert accounting and auditing services in various industries including commercial clients, real estate investment trusts, not-for-profit organizations and hospitality clients in his transition from Audit Senior Manager to Partner. Zuckerman has also been a key player in a number of group audits for various international clients. He’s an engaged partner in O’Connor Davies’ on-campus recruiting program and lends his expertise to the firm’s in-house continuing professional education.
Thomas DeMayo, CISA, previously served as Director of IT Risk Advisory Services, specializing in commercial, not-for-profit, governmental, healthcare and higher education entities. As the Firm’s lead IT security auditor, he is responsible for designing and implementing O’Connor Davies’ IT audit programs and testing procedures. Tom is a frequent presenter on emerging information technology issues and is an instructor with the Firm’s continuing professional education program. He’s authored several articles on essential IT topics in the accounting industry and served as an IT expert witness in court.
