SAE International announces the SAE 2016 Convergence meeting will be held Sept. 19-22 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mich. Ford Motor Company will provide Executive Leadership for the event.

SAE International announces the SAE 2016 Convergence meeting will be held Sept. 19-22 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mich. Ford Motor Company will provide Executive Leadership for the event.

The event will feature a theme of “Personal Mobility – Creating a Smart and Autonomous Journey.” The meeting will showcase a new format with each day highlighting a specific subject:

  •     Day 1 – Leadership Day (Monday, Sept. 19)
  •     Day 2 – Engineers Day (Tuesday, Sept. 20)
  •     Day 3 – Partner Day (Wednesday, Sept. 21)

Leadership Day will feature three keynote speakers along with three panel discussions covering the topics of Automotive Innovation, State of Supply Chain an Analysts View, and State of the Business. More information about these speakers and panel discussions, along with information for Engineers Day and Partner Day will be posted to the SAE International website as it becomes available.

SAE 2016 Convergence will feature a full slate of technical programs covering relevant topics facing all mobility engineering professionals, including technology disruptors, leveraging consumer electronics and aerospace and open source as an enabler, to name just a few.
