WWJ-TV CBS 62 in Detroit will launch a new, locally produced one-minute sports news segment entitled “Detroit Sports News,” beginning Monday, January 25. The program will air weeknights at 11:02pm and feature the latest news from the world of local sports, including professional, college, and high school teams. The segment will be anchored by Michigan native and local sports enthusiast Heather Park and produced by CBS 62 in association with multiple-Emmy Award-winning and locally-based Yellow Flag Productions.
“Detroit Sports News” will follow “First Forecast,” the innovative weather program featuring Chief Meteorologist Jim Madaus, which is now in its ninth year.
