Businessolver, a leading benefits administration technology company, today announced the company's distinction among the top ten of 100 companies in the "Best Mentoring Program" category and among the top 20 of 200 companies in the "Best Use of Team Building" category of the 2016 Leadership 500 Excellence Awards presented by HR.com.

Businessolver was recognized specifically for its mentoring program, Professional Development Program (PDP), a two-year rotational experience that allows young professionals the opportunity to learn about the benefits industry and cross-functionally train to work in at least three different areas of the company. By completion, participants know the purpose of every role in the company and how they work together to further Businessolver's mission of delighting clients.

"We're now in our third iteration of the program with our largest number of participants," said Businessolver Senior Vice President of Human Resources Marcy Klipfel. "It's exciting to see firsthand the professional growth of participants as they become well-rounded, successful Businessolver employees."

Businessolver was also recognized for its Team Launch training program, a five core requirement program that ensures employees have the necessary skills to be successful and offers them a deeper understanding of their role and those of their peers. Team Launch also helps retain employees who understand the company's culture, have the necessary skills to find immediate success in their role and embody Businessolver's "Technology with Heart" ideal.

"At Businessolver, employees are empowered to own their experience and obtain the support they need, when they need it," said Businessolver President and CEO Jon Shanahan. "We look forward to further developing these programs as we continue to grow at a rapid pace."

For over 30 years, Leadership Excellence has identified and recognized the top 500 leadership organizations and their development programs in their yearly ranking issues. Businessolver, among other companies, will be honored at the Leadership 500 Awards dinner and ceremony on Thursday, February 4 at the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum in Nashville.
