Applied Predictive Technologies (APT) announced today that Bob Evans Restaurants has signed an agreement to license APT’s Test & Learn and Menu Analyzer software solutions to test and measure key strategic initiatives across areas such as pricing, promotions, products, and marketing.

Applied Predictive Technologies (APT) announced today that Bob Evans Restaurants, a full-service restaurant chain that operates over 500 locations in the United States, has signed an agreement to license APT’s Test & Learn and Menu Analyzer software solutions. Bob Evans will leverage the software to test and measure key strategic initiatives and develop recommendations for future ideas across pricing, promotions, products, and marketing, among other areas.

Prior to signing an agreement, Bob Evans and APT partnered to conduct a fast-paced pilot engagement to drive value by measuring a couple of key initiatives, including discounts, new product introductions, and investments in media. APT also worked with Bob Evans to identify additional in-market experiments based on current and past initiatives.

John Fisher, Bob Evan’s Chief Concept Officer and Executive Vice President, commented, “After analyzing a few key initiatives with APT, we’re transitioning to using the software more broadly and institutionalizing the Test & Learn process across our organization. We want to make sure we’re leveraging the software wherever possible to accurately measure the cause-and-effect impact of initiatives and make more profitable decisions.”

Bob Evans has also licensed APT’s Menu Analyzer software, a platform that allows business users to quickly analyze transaction-level data to inform marketing and menu decisions. Using Menu Analyzer, organizations can rapidly design promotions, understand check composition, and uncover rich, actionable insights.

Sarah Hinkfuss Zampardo, Vice President at APT, commented on the relationship: “We are very excited that Bob Evans has chosen APT’s software, and we look forward to continuing our partnership as they use our software to refine their strategies across the organization.”
