Indiana Fiber Network, LLC (IFN), the leading Indiana statewide Network Service Provider, announces a major Internet bandwidth upgrade of service with New Lisbon Telephone Company (NLTC). One of IFN’s consortium Member/Owners, NLTC’s protected 1GB Dual Access Burstable Internet access is now available in their Indiana exchanges.
According to August Zehner, IFN Vice President of Sales and Marketing, IFN is an upstream Internet provider that supplies NLTC with redundant and geographically diverse fiber broadband services. “NLTC has major expansion plans. The additional Internet Bandwidth is a key factor in providing services for residential and business customers." With a recent acquisition, NLTC’s is now a major Indiana based Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) with over 37 towers that cover over 400 square miles in Wayne, Henry, Randolph, Fayette, Delaware, Union, and Rush Counties.
John Greene, CEO and General Manager at NLTC, states: “This latest service expansion is just one of numerous projects we are executing as part of our ongoing strategy to grow NLTC’s service footprint and service offerings. Enabling Wireless and Broadband Internet service to deliver the higher speeds demanded by our customers, is a key part of those services.”
Enabling NLTC as a Member/Owner is why IFN was initially formed. “IFN’s mission is to provide innovative, tailored technology solutions to our Members and customers/partners in the most effective, reliable and economically sound method possible,” said Kelly Dyer, IFN President and CEO.
